Revelry runs green at the 53rd annual St. Croix St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 16th, 2024. Every year, on the Saturday closest to St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th), revelers don their best green gear and flood the streets of downtown Christiansted with dancing and singing as they celebrate this popular Irish holiday brimming with Crucian culture. The St Croix St Patrick’s Day Parade got its official start in 1969 when a group of local businessmen got together on March 17th and started to talk about local celebrations. They wondered why an island that celebrates with any excuse, didn’t have an official St Paddy’s celebration. The ST.
